aurora

Aurora is Latin, the mystical and romantic word for “dawn”, which is the first appearance of light in the sky before sunrise. An aurora or auroras polaris are natural light displayed in Earth’s sky, predominantly seen in high-latitude of the north. Aurora polaris have become synonymous with Manitoba.

The mission of The Aurora Foundation is to be “the lasting difference for people affected by crime”, first, here in Manitoba. We strive for a new way, a new tomorrow, a new dawn for those suffering from tragedy brought on by violence and crime.
